Antares the Siberian tiger cub, also known as an Amur tiger cub, was presented to the
media at the Berlin Zoo in Germany on 5 August 2008. The tiger baby was born on
Monday, June 23, 2008.
Only 400 siberian tigers survive in the wild – about 20 in Northern China and the rest in the
Russian Far East.
