THE WORLD'S FIRST DOUBLE DECKER CABLE CAR

Switzerland unveils the world's first double decker cable car 'The Cabrio' – The Swiss have taken cable cars to new heights with the launch of the world's first open-air double decker cable car system, offering spectacular views of the Swiss Alps. The Cabrio, which soars up the Stanserhorn mountain near the city of Lucerne at a 1.9km height, can carry 60 passengers at a time, with room for 30 on the open-air top deck. Read more here.

THE POITOU DONKEY - The dreadlock donkey

The Poitou is a breed of donkey that originates from the Poitou region of France. It is probably the most distinctive donkey breed in the world due to its characteristic shaggy coat of 'dreadlocks'. It is also very rare with only around 180 species in existence. Compared to other breeds of donkey the Poitou is large in size and have large ears, heads, and leg joints. Read more.

Small hermit and soldier crabs in Malaysia and Australia build their homes digging deep holes in the sand. They have a good instinct of how to move sand up during the construction. Down in the holes, the crabs are making sand balls that later gets pushed up to the surface, 2-3 balls at a time. As these sand balls get pushed to the surface they form a kind of sand ball flower or sand ball galaxy (via).
